Waite Returns To Weston

James Waite is returning to Weston. He first played for the club during the 2020/2021 season.

The 25 year old has been with Newport County for the last two and a half years.

Waite joined Hereford on loan from Cardiff City in January 2019. He scored two goals in nine games for the Bulls, the first at York, the second at Leamington.

“James is a fantastic signing for us, he’s every bit a Football League player," said manager Scott Bartlett.

“Technically excellent, very sharp, he’s a good finisher and can unlock doors for us, he will certainly be one of the best forward players in the league.

“The fact he can play off a forward, either in front or behind, is a big plus for us.

“Obviously we know him well, he’s a great character, he works tirelessly for the team, and we are delighted to have him”.
