News round up

Tommy O'Sullivan
Former Hereford midfielder Tommy O'Sullivan has extended his stay at Brackley Town. O'Sullivan joined the side, who have suffered play-off heartache in six out of the last seven seasons, last summer from Gloucester City and went on to make 42 appearances.

Saints manager Gavin Cowan said former Cardiff City youngster O'Sullivan, who made more than 50 appearances for the Bulls between 2018 and 2020, had been "crucial", is an "excellent technician" as well as "evolving his game".

Emmanuel Maja has signed a one-year deal with Aldershot Town after leaving Banbury United.

New Buxton boss John McGrath has secured key midfielder Connor Kirby on full-time terms.

Kirby has made a big impact at the club since joining from Harrogate Town in 2022, making 93 appearances, eight off the bench, and scoring 15 goals, and he becomes the latest member of John McGrath’s new-look squad following the National League North club's bold decision to go full-time this coming season.

Scunthorpe United’s first summer recruit Carlton Ubaezuonu is looking forward to getting going after joining the club from Chorley.

The 26-year-old arrives at the Attis Arena as Andy Butler’s first signing as Scunthorpe United boss, with the forward linking back up with the 40-year-old following time playing together at Farsley Celtic.
