Despite losing at Brackley on Saturday, Hereford chairman Chris Ammonds has asked fans to keep supporting the team.
Hereford are 10th in the National North League table, three points outside the play-off zone.
The Bulls have six more games so there are eighteen points to play for.
Ammonds excepts that Hereford might not reach the play-offs but feels the team have done really well given a new manager and a new squad.
"Even if it doesn’t quite work out, any initial disappointment I feel will be tempered by the fact we had no real right to expect to find ourselves competing this strongly anyway," said Ammonds.
"It’s been a really exciting and enjoyable bonus this campaign considering where we were as a club at the start of May 2023!
"With that in mind, it is really important that, as fans, we do not give up on our team now and that we continue to throw our support behind the players until the very last whistle on the very last day of the season."
