Caddis Pleased With Victory

Hereford manager Paul Caddis watched the game from the stands. Afterwards he told the local media what he thought about the 4-1 victory.

"Really pleased, especially the first 25 minutes," he said.

"I thought we started really bright, we were ruthless.

"We went ahead quite early the game, then followed it up and followed it up.

"A point we've made to the players is that we've taken the lead quite a lot at times but it's trying to get that next one, that belief to keep going.

"Pleasing afternoon, three points that we needed.

"I though the reaction from the players was different class so we're pleased all around."

Caddis made several changes to his starting eleven.

"It was more about us. I just think the last six, seven games we've created but not put the ball in the back of the net as often as we hoped for.

"We've got Tope back, we started with KP (Phillips) who deserved his chance, we've brought Dom (McHale) in and Jid has been excellent for us.

"So it was a kind of changed front four, probably been a bit stale in the last five/six games so I just felt we had to freshen it up the top end of the pitch.

"Some decisions you get right, some you get wrong, but thankfully it proved the right decision today. I thought the front line was excellent."
