Lewis Hudson made his debut for Hereford against Blyth Spartans yesterday afternoon.
The left back signed from Rushall last week impressed manager Paul Caddis.
"I thought he was excellent," said Caddis.
"I thought he was tenacious, he was on the front foot, his quality on the ball was good.
"He obviously gave the penalty away but these things happen.
"I thought he was vocal.
"There was one, we were 5-2 up, ninety seconds left, and his sprint recovery, that's the type we want at the club.
"That's the type of players who are at this club and anyone who doesn't do that will get found out because that the standard we've set at this football club.
"Really pleased to get him in, pleased he is here for next season as well. One we can build on."
