Hereford manager Paul Caddis was pleased with yesterday's 2-0 win over Torquay in the FA Trophy. The two goals came in the first half.
"Really good first half," said Caddis.
"Really pleased, thought we were on the front foot, thought we played forward with quality, picked up a lot of second balls.
"Got a lot of success with Tom Pugh in the hole.
"The wide players we've got, I thought Tope was excellent on his debut, he brings calmness, experience, he defended well.
"So really pleased with the first half.
"It's difficult to replicate when you play that well and I thought the best way to describe the second half was professional, we were still fairly calm.
"I think on 55, 56 minutes they put their centre half up front and went very direct. I thought we coped really well."
Ceesay in particular was 'at one point unplayable' said Keith Hall.
"Yes he is, he is at times. he's unpreditable.
"I was joking with the bench and I'm not being disrespectful to Ceesay but that penalty could have ended up in Blackpool.
"That's the type of character he is, that's why I love working with him. He's unpredictable, he's difficult to play against.
"I thought as a team first half we were really, really good. Second half we were really professional without being hughly effective up the top end of the pitch.
"We're into the last sixteen against, I know there's been a lot of talk about them and their lot of injuries but I've got five first team players missing.
"I'm really with how we went about it, our attitude, our character, desire, the stuff we always talk about.
"Cup football is about getting to the next round but if you can a performance to go with it then all the better."
