Hereford have said they are hopeful that today's National League North game against King's Lynn will be able to go ahead.
A pitch inspection was carried out at 9am.
It was carried out by a "suitably qualified match official, who has liaised with the match referee".
While temperatures were as low as minus 7C on Thursday night into Friday, last night was milder and likely didn't go below freezing.
The club also said that taking into account the current weather forecast, they "remain hopeful that today’s game can go ahead".
King's Lynn have already travelled so the club are "keen to give the game as much chance as possible as going ahead".
Hereford's general manager Jamie Griffiths told BBC Hereford and Worcester yesterday that the Blackfriars End goalmouth was one of the problem areas. Despite triple-layering the frost covers in that area, it still froze.
The Met Office forecasts highs of 7C and lows of 5C in Hereford today.
Several other games are already falling victim to the weather, with frozen pitches unplayable.
