Johnson Looks Forward To Hereford On Saturday

Towards the end of his press call earlier today Torquay manager Gary Johnson said he was looking forward to Saturday's FA Trophy tie at Hereford.

He's knows all about Edgar Street having been there many times in his management career.

And he has done his homework noting in particular that the Bulls will be without Jason Cowley for the tie.

"I'm sure they will know as much about us as we know about them," said Johnson.

"We all can watch the games, dissect them, pause them and move on again.

"You have to know the opposition strengths, you need to look for their weaknesses as well as they will do with us.

"You do your preparation and you do all your tactics.

"If certain players for them who are danger players we've got to look for.

"But let's make us the danger players for them and then if you get your own game out then that will  bring out the oppositions deficiencies.

"The North and South has got very professional now and there are some good managers about, very good managers.

"So your players have to go out there and perform what they've been doing all week.

"It will be a tough game, they've are doing well.

"They've lost their last game, I think they've lost a couple of players through a sending off and an injury, not as much as us.

"But we're looking forward to it.

"It's a nice little stadium, been there many times.

"It will be a good one to win because you get into the last sixteen you start looking at the FA Trophy very differently. you realise you've only got a couple of games before you get to the final."
