Tom Pugh scored Hereford's first goal in their 2-0 win over Torquay United on Saturday |
The draw for the fifth round of the FA Trophy has been made, with Hereford handed their 11th home cup tie in a row.
The Lilywhites will take on Gateshead, with the fifth round proper games set to take place on Saturday 10 February.
In the fourth round, National League side Gateshead were held to a 2-2 draw at home against lower-graded Weston-super-Mare, before going through 4-3 on penalties.
They currently lie 8th in the league.
It means Hereford's National League North match at Peterborough Sports will be put off, with Sports also still in the Trophy. They've been drawn at home to National League strugglers Kidderminster Harriers.
Winning clubs at this stage, which like the fourth round is not regionalised, will secure £6,000 from the competition prize fund and losing clubs will get £1,750.
That would be on top of the £13,500 prize money the Bulls have picked up in the second, third and fourth rounds.
After entering the competition in the second round, the Bulls have beaten Redbridge 4-1 and South Park 1-0.
They booked their place in the last 16 after beating National League South side Torquay United 2-0 at Edgar Street on Saturday thanks to two first half goals - a Tom Pugh free kick and Yusifu Ceesay free kick.
Paul Caddis was hoping for another home draw, with his side being handed 10 in a row so far this season.
Hereford have already had four home draws in the FA Cup this season before being knocked out by League Two Gillingham in the first round proper. In the county cup, the Bulls have already beaten Clee Hill at home and if they get past Tenbury tomorrow, they'll then be at home against Wellington in the semi final. That's on top of the three Trophy ties.
Ahead of the draw, Paul Caddis highlighted his side's home form.
In the league, they've lost only three of their 13 home games, compared with seven in their 14 away games.
He said: "I know it's becoming a bit of a laughing joke but I want a another home tie.
"I think we've had about 28 at home but another one would be ideal.
"I wrote up on the board before the game I think we're 15 games out of 19 unbeaten here in all competitions.
"We had those two games when we were rubbish, Southport and Peterborough. We lost to League Two Gillingham and we lost to Scunny.
"We're very very good at our home patch. Not a lot of people want to come here.
"Just pleased to get through to the next round, we're in the hat, we'll take it from there."
