Spennymoor manager Lewis Dickman was disappointed to lose at Hereford this afternoon. The winning goal came in injury time.
"Today they worked their socks off and I don't think we deserved it," said Dickman.
"It was a tale of two halves.
"First half we've had enough opportunities, we've played some really good football, in total control of the game.
"Second half, we knew what it was going to be, it was a battle and I thought we stood up to it.
"It was the execution of that final pass, or that final decision that let us done first half.
"2700 here today, they are very vocal, the drum is going. It's a real nice atmosphere for them.
"I don't think there will be many teams come here and give an account of themselves as we have today."
Spennymoor's goal came from a set piece.
"It's nice to actually score from a set piece, we probably don't score enough from them for the amount of work we do on them.
"A great header from Lebrun."
There were seven minutes of added time in the second half. And that's when Hereford scored the winner.
"Two minutes in the first half, then seven in the second. I don't know where the seven minutes has come from.
"Clutching straws a little bit here, it's a succour punch, one we don't deserve but it's happened."
Spennymoor brought 43 supporters to the game.
"It was brilliant of the league to put this fixture on two days before Christmas, five hours down the road.
"The supporters each and every one of them have been superb."
