Hereford manager Paul Caddis was pleased to get three points from the game against Warrington last night.
The visitors went down to nine men but defended very well.
"Those games are tough when you play against ten men, tough when you play against nine," said Caddis.
"I thought credit to Warrington, they worked extremely hard.
"We got a lot of shots off, the keeper made a lot of saves, but we wanted to be a bit more clinical.
"However it's three points and I don't care how it comes.
"After Saturday it was all about reacting, reacting positely.
"It didn't matter how we got it as long as we got a win and we did."
Warrington's keeper Daniel Atherton was at fault for Hereford's first goal but overall he made some excellent saves.
"We knew he took chances, I told Cowley that before the game.
"How he saved Cowley's spectactual overhead kick was unbelievable.
"He's just so agile, gets across the goal so quickly.
"Was it a good save or a bad finish? I would probably give credit to the goalie.
"But we want to be more clinical than that but we got three points."
Hereford's winning goal, scored by Ethan Freemantle, was a long time coming as Warrington had 'parked the bus'.
"There isn't any other option when you are down to nine men. So credit to them they worked extremely hard and made it difficult for us."
