It Wasn't Great Said Caddis

Hereford manager Paul Caddis spoke to the local media and the Non-League paper after this afternoon's 1-0 victory over South Park in the FA Trophy.

He admitted it hadn't been a great game, the wind was quite strong but the Bulls are in the next round.

"Probably on a level par with Farsley Celtic," said Caddis.

"It wasn't great, there's no two ways about it.

"But it's Cup football, we've got to get to the next round.

"I've just checked the results. That's 19 teams in National League North out of the competition.

"Credit to South Park they came and made it difficult for us but we expected a little bit more from us. However it's about Cup football and getting to the next round.

"The conditions weren't great, the pitch is starting to take a bit of beating with the amount of games it has had on it.

"I just looked for that little bit more quality in the first half and then again in the second half.

"As long as it was 1-0 the opposition is always in the game.

"Credit to them they made it difficult for us at times, they worked hard, they've had to travel this morning. So fair play to them, I wish them all the best for the rest of the season."

Caddis rested midfielder Alex Babos and winger Yusifu Ceesay and it was noticable.

"It shows how important they are for us."
