Hereford have bounced back from the disappointing 5-1 loss against Scunthorpe on Saturday as they claimed the three points on offer against Warrington tonight.
The visitors were down to nine-men by the 38th minute, with Connor Woods shown a straight red in an altercation with Tom Pugh and Bohan Dixon a second yellow for a foul on Jack Tolley.
Between the sending offs, Jason Cowley opened the scoring as he and Babos stole the ball from the feet of the keeper.
A dubious penalty in first half stoppage time, converted by Sean Williams, saw the Yellows go into the break level despite flurries of changers for the Lilywhites.
Going on to dominate the second half, substitute Ethan Freemantle headed home the winner with 15 minutes left on the clock.
