Given the number of games called off yesterday, Hereford groundsman Ben Bowen has received a lot of praise for his hard work ensuring the game against Scunthorpe went ahead.
"I was in myself this morning, board members were in," said Caddis.
"Ben did an unbelievable job to get the game to go ahead.
"I was really keen, I went and bought some heaters myself to try and get the game on which we did.
"Ben deserves a lot of credit. I know there's a lot of disappointment at the moment (after the defeat) but Ben and the staff deserve a lot of credit for getting the game on.
"It shows you the mentality switch I'm trying to get at the football club.
"We don't want a game off against Scunthorpe who are full time with big backing. We want to play them because we are in a good moment, we were in a good moment, we still are in a good moment.
"We've now lost two in twelve home games. That's a brilliant record."
