We Tried Something A Bit Different Said Caddis

Koby Arthur Started For Hereford

Paul Caddis changed the formation of his starting eleven for last night's match against Banbury and also warmed up earlier. It paid off.

"We tried something a little bit different," said the Hereford manager.

"We tried to go out to warm up earlier just to see if that would maybe change how we started games. And it did.

"I don't know if it was down to that but we started on the front foot, we got our forward players on the ball, we made them (Banbury) defend first and foremost which caused them some problems especially when we were direct at times.

"Just delighted to get that first goal.

"And it's always in my mind that so often this year we've dominated games for the first twenty, twenty five minutes, half an hour, fourty minutes and never got a second goal.

"So we were desperate to get our second goal which we did."

Hereford scored four goals, it could have been more.

"Yes there were opportunities there especially the last fifteen, twenty minutes but Ethan had a good chance, Coby had a good chance who I thought was excellent.

"Rooney had a good chance in the first half to make it three.

"So there were chances across the board so it was pleasing.

"I would have been more disappointed if we were not getting into situations to create chances."

What was the major difference between last Saturday and today?

"Intensity, doing the simple things well."
