Hereford FC have decided to cut the prices of admission to Saturday's FA Trophy game against Redbridge.
Adult tickets will cost £3 less than at League fixtures.
Club Chairman Chris Ammonds and General Manager Jamie Griffiths spoke about why they have taken the decision in their latest video.
JG: "We've had a lot of cup games at home which everyone has to put their hand in their pocket.
"We've spoken that FA Cup prices needed to stay where they are but we've made the decision to reduce the prices for Trophy games.
"We've also made the decision to shut the Len Weston Stand as well to try and cut down on the costs.
"Firstly I guess it's to reward the fans because they've been exceptional in recent months atmosphere wise and in numbers."
CH: We understand it's hard for supporters, we understand why we've been criticised in the past for not reducing prices for FA Cup games but it's never a straight forward decision for us.
"We looked at this FA Trophy game and given the number of home games we've had and in cup competitions it just felt like the right thing to do to try and reduce the price for this fixture.
"We still have to split the gate money with Redbridge in the same way as we do in the FA Cup.
"Even with shutting the Len Weston Stand, which does help us in terms of the costs of hosting the game, we've still got some decent size expenses that we have to meet.
"But just to able to knock £3 off the prices across the board for people, I think it's the right thing to do.
"It is a thank you to supporters. It is a gesture to supporters."
