Gillingham manager Steven Clemence was pleased that his first game in charge resulted in a win.
Here's a few of his post match comments:
"You come here and you're 1-0 up and the opposition puts you under pressure you have to stand firm," said Clemence.
"It doesn't matter if the team is two divisions below you or in your league, you have to stand firm.
"Hereford fans were fantastic, got right behind their team in the second half."
In another interview he commented:
"It's nice to get into the next round.
"It was not an easy game coming here on a really wet day.
"The lads played some good football in the first half, then they had to play a different way in the second half when Hereford put us under a bit of pressure."
