Gloucester City chairman Patrick Chambers and operations director Nicky Chambers have quit their posts.
The club have had its worst start to a season in 78 years. Currently they are bottom of the National North League with just 11 points from 18 games.
It's not yet known who will take over as chairman but co-owner Alex Petheram has given an interview to Severn Sport in which he outlines the immediate future.
"I’ve not said I was or am coming back,” admitted Petheram.
"The plan will be to create a board, which anyone can then join as long as they are voted and supported by the board.
"Hopefully through this process, we’ll find someone that wants to grown within the club and grow their role and then who knows what the future holds from there.
"It’s been and is very hard [to see City’s struggles this season]. The club needs to be together and right now, being blunt, it seems very toxic within sections around the club."
