Caddis Praised Pugh's Work Ethic

Hereford manager Paul Caddis started Tom Pugh last night against Brackley. The loanee had only been signed 24 hours earlier and only knew Alex Babos, who wasn't involved, before meeting the rest of the squad.

"We signed Tom Pugh late yesterday," said Caddis.

"He came in today. didn't know anyone.

"His work ethic was ridiculous."

Pugh spoke about the move in his post match interview.

"It's some place to come to with those fans," he said.

"I think the fans gave us that extra edge we needed especially when we went 1-0 up and had to defend for the next 70 minutes or so."

When did Pugh know he was coming to Hereford?

"Yesterday.

"It was my first offer so I just took it straight away.

"I heard about it through an enquiry, I was keen to get going straight away."
