Hereford are 2-0 up at half time in this evening's National League North tie against Banbury.
By the 11th minute, Jason Cowley – who's slowly returning to full fitness – broke the deadlock, slotting into the bottom corner after some great build up play from the hosts.
Banbury did threaten with four quick corners midway through the half, but Hereford stayed on top and continued to pile on the pressure with good breaks from Aaron Skinner and Yusifu Ceesay.
Adam Rooney then doubled the advantage before half time, stretching to get on the end of Jason Cowley's pass to force the ball past keeper Jack Harding.
Hereford have been bright, and while Banbury have threatened at times, they have struggled to deal with the pace the Bulls have up front through Cowley and Ceesay.
