Former Hereford player Mustapha Bundu has described the feeling of scoring on his full debut for Plymouth Argyle after moving back to the UK.Mustapha Bundu, pictured after scoring twice for Hereford against Brocton in 2016, has scored his first goal in the Championship
The Sierra Leone international opened the scoring in the 3-0 Championship win against Sheffield Wednesday at Home Park with a stunning 44th minute free-kick.
The 26-year-old even went as far as to say the goal on Wednesday evening ranks among the best goals of his career so far.
Bundu started playing youth football for the Craig Bellamy Academy before moving to the UK to play for Hartpury College. He played for Hereford in the Midland Football League during the phoenix club's inaugural season, being named young player of the season, but had to leave at the end of the season due to his visa not allowing him to play higher than step five.
He then signed for Danish Superliga club AGF after a successful trial, before moving to Anderlecht in 2020 and now Plymouth Argyle in 2023.

As reported by the Plymouth Herald, Bundu said: "It's an amazing feeling, to do that in front of the home fans, and most importantly getting the win. We have been talking about it, we have had a rough run of results.
"We had a good game against West Brom and we could have won it I thought, especially in the first half, and we played good in the second half as well so we brought that momentum. We had to be clinical (against Wednesday) and we took the chances we got."
Bundu thought the goal ranked among the top two or three in his career. "It was an amazing feeling," he said. "The whole scenario - my first start at home in front of the fans and in a game where we wasn't really on top."
On the reception he got from the Green Army in the 16,225 crowd when he left the pitch, Bundu said: "It has been very nice from day one. Since I have been here they have been fantastic.
"That was also one of the reasons why I chose to come here. I had heard and seen a lot of things about the fans last year, travelling very far.
"Even in my few away games here they have been filling up the away ends and very loud with us all the way through. I'm hoping to see them again in Ipswich and hopefully we can get a big result there."
