Hereford manager Paul Caddis spoke to the local media after his won 2-1 at Chorley yesterday afternoon.
He made particular mention of Ollie Southern who played in the heart of defence alongside captain Nathan Cameron.
"I was delighted," said Caddis.
"We were down to the bare bones, we really were.
"I've got to say Ollie Southern who has not played for a long time, he's come in and I thought he was absolutely different class.
"This is a tough place to come, not many teams will come here and win and dominate the way we did.
"My only worry at half time was that it was a carbon copy of Tuesday night (Alfreton).
"We dominated possession but still didn't test the goalie as much as we wanted to.
"But credit to the players, we knew in the transition there would be a lot of space and the boys took out the game plan to a tee.
"We're really delighted with the win."
