This afternoon's match between Hereford and Curzon Ashton goes ahead despite over 60 mls of rain over the last three days.
As ever groundsman Ben Bowen has worked hard to make sure the pitch is playable.
It's understood he verti-drained the pitch earlier this week which will have helped to drain the excess water away.
Hereford Women also use the pitch this season. Luckily their game tomorrow is away at Halas Hawks, assuming it goes ahead, which will give the Edgar Street pitch more time to recover before their next game which is on October 29th.
The first team are not due to play at Edgar Street until November 4th when they meet Gillingham in the FA Cup.
