Gillingham Look For New Manager

Gillingham, who travel to Hereford in the First Round of the FA Cup, are looking for a new manager after Neil Harris left.

Club owner American Brad Galinson decided to let Harris move on despite them being eighth in the League Two table at the time. They are now seventh.

Currently in charge is Keith Millen.

It didn't go well for him at Walsall last Saturday. As well as losing 4-1, Millen was red carded for what looked like tripping a Walsall player as he went to take a throw-in.

In any case he's said he doesn't want the post.

So who will replace Harris?

Former Hereford United player John Eustace was reportedly at the game. Eustace lost his job at Birmingham last week.

Also mentioned is Stephen Clemence who was an assistant to Steve Bruce.

What about Bruce himself? He played for Gillingham 237 times.

Others mentioned include Karl Robinson who was with Leeds and Danny Cowley formerly with Portsmouth.

Whoever it is it's expected the Gills will have a new manager in charge before the Hereford game on November 4th.
