'Fair result.
'Possibly Hereford marginally the better of the sides.
'It said a lot that South Shields gave their man of the match to the defensive midfielder in front of their back four.
'But Hereford are still not getting their chances on target. That cutting edge is still not there.
'Freemantle was better today. Ceesay had a good battle with their full back.
'Lydon was exceptional. His ability to read the game and organise.
'Arthur did nothing when he came on and was booked for trying to win a penalty.
'The referee was good today.
'Howkins was struggling at the end. He was stretching all the time. I thought the players were making the most of breaks to give him time to recover.
'Downing was his usual impressive self at the back. Made one superb tackle when they broke into the box.
'Babos was booked. It looked like there was a bit of contact, he decided to go down. I don't think it was a penalty, nor a booking.
'This was probably the best performance of the season so far.
'It gives hope for the future.'
