Spennymoor manager Jamie Chandler speaking after their 2-0 win over Hereford admitted that they had to 'dig deep' at certain times during the game.
"I'm delighted for the back line, I'm delighted for the front players," said Chandler.
"Clean sheet, goals.
"It's a big win for us after two frustrating draws.
"It really nice to get back to winning ways today.th
"Hereford are a good side. I know they've had a bit of an indifferent spell but they have got some really effective players whom we spoke about before the game.
"I thought for 20/25 minutes we were absolutely outstanding. I thought some of the football we played, the chances we created, was exceptional.
"The drinks break probably didn't help us, they regrouped and changed their system a little bit which caused us a few problems so we had to adjust.
"We had to dig a little bit deep certainly in the second half, it wasn't the start we wanted. We wanted be a little more aggressive with our play, a little bit better on the front foot.
"But credit to them they really got at us, pinned us in down the bank and it was a really well worked goal that got us the win in the end."
