Half time: Hereford 2 - Cambridge City 0

After a mixed start where Cambridge showed their desire, getting forward and threatening, it was Hereford who broke the deadlock. Alex Babos was upended on the

The early goal, after 15 minutes, seemed to settle things as they continued pushing forward. Still a little shot-shy at times, Ethan Freemantle – making his debut on loan from struggling National League side Kidderminster Harriers – had an effort curl wide and then a second ricocheting off the crossbar.

Babos could've had a second but his shot, after being teed-up by Adam Livingstone back in at left-back was cleared off the line.

Curtis Pond's first real save of the afternoon came o towards the end of the first half, diving to deny Stefan Broccoli's shot created from a Bulls mistake.

But Hereford doubled their lead before the break. Babos broke forward before laying off to Livingstone, who set up Yusifu Ceesay who unleashed a rasping shot and rendered the keeper helpless.

Keep it up!
