Hereford supporters were hoping to see a new face leading the line yesterday after the announcement that Etham Freemantle had joined the club on a three month loan deal from Kidderminster.
But just before kick-off it emerged he couldn't play on doctor's orders.
"He was medically ruled out last week, he's got an infection," said manager Paul Caddis after the game.
"But he's good to go as of Tuesday so he'll be training Tuesday night.
"We obviously wanted him to play.
"I'm delighted to get someone like that into the building.
"It tells you that you've signed a decent player when your own players have received four, five, six messages from the lads in the dressing room saying Ethan is a brilliant hard worker.
"It's exactly what we need, really pleased we've got him in, looking forward to working with him.
"I think he'll make a huge difference."
