Paul Caddis spoke to the media after Hereford lost their game at Spennymoor 2-0 this afternoon. He made it clear that the Bulls continue to miss two of their strikers who are out with injuries.
It was two very different halves suggested the interviewer Matt Taylor.
"I thought the second half we were on the front foot, we moved the ball really well, we got crosses in the box," said the Hereford manager.
"First half I think we struggled to deal with them in wide areas at times so we changed that a bit after twenty minutes.
"We just didn't get a foot on the ball, we couldn't calm the game down, I think they had eight or nine corners in the first half.
"Second half really pleased.
"I've been critical of the group recently of not taking chances but we created chances today.
"We're missing the two lads which is well documented at the top and again it was evident today .
"It's my job to try and find different ways to try and get the ball in the net.
"We knew what to expect with Spennymoor, they get balls in the box which they did.
"They played off their striker quite a lot.
"I thought at times the gaps between our back three and the midfield two was too big.
"And just the decision making.
"In football the best decision makers are the best players.
"And in the first half we didn't make enough good decisions."
