There was a good turnout of Hereford supporters at Tamworth this afternoon. No figure was given but probably around 600, maybe more, made the trip. Given the performance a few left early but the vast majority stayed until the end.
Manager Paul Caddis ensured his players went over towards the supporters and later captain Nathan Cameron spoke to several groups of fans, not easy after losing 4-0.
"The supporters had every right to vent their frustration, their anger, their well earned money they had spent to come and watch what was a rubbish display," said Caddis.
"I made sure that every single player stood there and I stood in front of them and we took the stick we deserved."
Caddis had to put up with a bit of grief from the Tamworth fans right behind the dug-outs.
"It's part of football.
"I got hit by a bottle of coke, I got stuff thrown at me, that's life, that's the least of my worries to be honest."
