Jay Stansfield, son of former Hereford United striker Adam Stansfield, has joined Birmingham City on a season long loan from Fulham.
This from Birmingham FC:
The 20-year-old has joined Birmingham City on a season-long loan from Premier League Fulham, subject to League and FA approval, with the Club beating more than a dozen other teams to his signature.
A dynamic and versatile forward, as a first-year scholar, he joined the Cottagers from Exeter City for an undisclosed fee and has represented the West London outfit on eight occasions in senior football to date.
He spent last term back at Exeter, making 39 appearances across all competitions for the Grecians as they made a solid return to Sky Bet League One, assisted by Stansfield’s nine goals.
