Named: All the trialists who played for Hereford at Nuneaton

Midfielder Kobe Chong played for Hereford again tonight
Hereford have used a number of trialists in the 4-1 win at Nuneaton Borough this evening.

They include former West Brom players, Hereford-born Jamie Taylor and Coventry City's George Burroughs.

One trialist was Koby Arthur - the 27-year-old midfielder who was part of Birmingham City's youth set-up. He scored in tonight's 4-1 win.

He made 12 senior appearances and had loan spells at Lincoln City and Cheltenham Town before leaving. He then played for Macclesfield Town, Kidderminster Harriers, Dover Athletic and Maidenhead United. He left at the end of last season.

Midfielder Kobe Chong, 22, also played. He started at West Bromwich Albion and has experience at Telford, Banbury and Nuneaton. He also played on Saturday in the Bulls' 2-0 win over West Brom's U21s.

Jamie Taylor at Edgar Street on Saturday
Hereford-born midfielder Jamie Taylor also played again. He's featured for Hereford in the previous two pre-season friendlies. He was at Crystal Palace but was released and was most recently at Tonbridge Angels in the National League South.

Another trialist named is Kobi Brooks (spelt Koby on the teamsheet), an 18-year-old goalkeeper from Birmingham City.

George Burroughs was also named, a 20-year-old Scottish centre-back. He's just signed a new two-year deal to remain with the Coventry City.

Anuerin Livermore also played again. He's another face to have already featured this pre-season. He made his Football League debut for Newport County in September 2021 but was released at the end of the season.

In February 2023, he signed for Hereford under then-manager Josh Gowling but only made one appearance.

Another of the trialists was named on the teamsheet as Leon Maehisa.

But it appears it could instead be Leon Machisa, a 19-year-old defender who can play centre-back and at right-back. He's currently a free agent having left West Bromwich Albion in June 2022 and said in May he was looking "to get an opportunity".

Finally, Bogdan Marian is a striker/wide midfielder who has been on loan at step three's Rushden and Diamonds from Sky Bet Championship side Watford.

The Romanian-born teenager joined the Hornets as a goalkeeper at the age of eight but switched positions ahead of the 2021/22 season.

He spent the first part of last season on loan at Spartan South Midlands League Premier Division outfit Tring Athletic, scoring 21 goals for a combination of youth and senior teams across all competitions. He then made the step up to the Northern Premier League.
