Hereford manager Paul Caddis told this afternoon's fans forum that he is looking at bringing in loan players.
"We've already got a list of loanees who were are looking at," said Caddis.
"We're at the final stage with quite a few, it's just speaking to the clubs and finding out what the finances are connected to them.
"We've identified a group that we think can make the squad better.
"We need more depth there no doubt about it.
"I've always said I didn't want a squad of 25/30 players, I wanted a tight squad and I know that comes with risks. You lose one or two players you end up a bit thin.
"I would rather bring 18 real good players fighting for the first team than have 25 and only 14 capable of playing every week and ten who are fringe players.
"We'll get a couple of loans in if we can."
