Player Update From Hereford

Hereford FC have released information about players remaining from last season who have had talks with manager Paul Caddis.

Invited for pre-season training:

Dale Eve

Fee agreed with Step One club (personal terms being discussed):

Ryan McLean

Compensation figure agreed with National League North club (talks ongoing):

Harry Pinchard

Contract extension offered:

Jack Evans

Leaving the club:

Jared Hodgkiss
Seb Osment

As regards Jared Hodgkiss:

"I have continued discussions with various players since the end of the season and can now confirm that Jared Hodgkiss will be leaving the club," said manager Paul Caddis.

"While Jared and I had detailed discussions about a possible player coach role, an agreement which suited both parties could not be reached."

Seb Osment:

"I can also confirm that young goalkeeper, Seb Osment, will be moving on."

Ryan Mclean:

"I can confirm that we have accepted an offer from a Step One club for Ryan McLean. We had activated a clause in Ryan’s contract for another year here and would be delighted if he remains here, but he is keen to move into full-time football and as a club we feel the deal on offer is potentially a good one for all parties. Personal terms are currently being discussed."

Harry Pinchard:

"Harry Pinchard was offered a new deal to stay at Edgar Street, but he has explained that the move to evening training will not work for him and that therefore he needs to move elsewhere. We respect Harry’s position and in the last 24 hours have agreed an undisclosed compensation figure with a National League North club."

Jack Evans:

"Jack Evans is another player who has been offered a contract extension and he’s someone I would like to keep. However, he has told me he would like to look at the possibility of moving to a higher level and full-time football if he can, so that situation is going."

Aaron Amadi-Holloway:

"Finally, while Aaron Amadi-Holloway is under contract for the 2023/24 season, in recent conversations with him he has been open with me that he would like to consider if there are other options for him. Talks with Aaron and his agent will be continuing."
