One of Hereford's new singings has said he's hoping for a "very successful season" at Edgar Street.
Right-back Ollie Southern has joined Hereford on a one-year deal, having spent last season at JD Cymru Premier side Bala.
Southern is 21 and before joining Bala in July 2021 had a spell with Curzon Ashton after leaving Crewe Alexandra where he came through the youth ranks.
Tweeting yesterday, Southern said: "I am pleased to announce that I have signed for
Hereford FC.
"I am looking forward to the season ahead as well as working with manager Paul Caddis and the rest of [the] team.
"Hoping we have a very successful season and also can't wait to get started and meet the fans."
He also thanked his former club: "I would like to thank everyone [at] Bala Town FC for the last two years playing in the Welsh Premier League and Europa League football allowing me to gain experience in a tough physical league.
"Wishing the club all the best for the future."
Manager Paul Caddis said when the signing was announced: "He has a presence and size that we need in a tough uncompromising league.
"Ollie has spent the last three years in senior football and for his age has played a lot of games, including appearances in the Champions League qualifiers."
