Flexible ticket idea for Hereford FC mooted

The ticket office at Edgar Street
Hereford FC have mooted the idea of a flexible ticket for multiple matches at Edgar Street.

Other clubs offer supporters the option to buy a ticket for multiple games, often five or 10, if they cannot commit to the majority of games to make a season-long ticket worth it.

These types of tickets offer a saving when compared to prices for a single match.

After an article by BN about Southport freezing their prices for a 13th consecutive year, one supporter asked if Hereford could introduce a flexi-ticket.

Chris Ammonds, Hereford FC's chairman, said: "I’m sure it’s something that we can look at for the future."

For example, National League North side Southport FC have introduced a five or 10-game flexi-ticket for the coming season.

They can be used for any league game, but do not include free entry to pre-season friendlies as a full-season ticket would.

On the initiative, the club's head of commercial and operations Steve Dewsnip said: “While buying a season ticket is a great way of showing your support and loyalty to the club, we are conscious that not every supporter can commit to attending all home league games, hence our decision to introduce flexi-tickets for the first time, which we expect to prove popular."
