Kings Lynn interim manager Mark Hughes has said that he wants the job permanently despite losing 4-1 to Kidderminster in the National North semi-final yesterday.
Hughes took over from Tommy Widdrington recently and had won his first five games in charge.
"If you look at our form since we've come to the club, we would have stayed comfortably up if we had come in a little bit earlier last year, so I think the boys have reproduced those performances this year. I certainly see this as a National League club," said Hughes.
He is set to meet with owner Stephen Cleeve in the next day or so.
"I need to make sure, one, myself and the chairman have a good conversation and then, two, we'll let the players know by the end of the week."
