After yesterday's game against Kings Lynn, Hereford interim manager Yan Klukowski said he felt there was nothing between the two sides. However the only goal of the game went to the visitors.
"Very disappointing considering how well we played," said Klukowski.
"Two decent sides went two to toe.
"I think anybody watching the game would quite easily say there was nothing between the two sides, they sit second, we sit in the bottom half.
"Disappointing that we couldn't take that chance at 0-0. The difference their moment of quality in the first half.
"That goal goes in it gives everybody a lift. But it didn't go in so we have to respond and find other ways to score goals and create chances."
A slightly different formation didn't seem to suit Ryan Mclean.
"We had two up top, Miles and Tyrone.
"Ryan did a really good job at wing-back for us.
"We had to tweak the shape because of the late addition of a full back after losing two full backs on Thursday.
"We would have liked him to have had a bit more attacking out put.
"But they are a decent side, they sit second in the table for a reason.
"I thought we more than matched them and were the better side at times."
Oxlade-Chamberlain scored the only goal of the game.
"It was a fantastic strike and that moment of quality decided the game.
"Things that led to that happening we are disappointed about but we could quite get enough pressure on the edge of the box and the lad has bent it in the top corner.
"That's probably why they are second in the table, they've been taking their moments and it's probably the reason why we are not there ourselves."
