Speaking after last night's 2-0 set-back at Chorley, Yan Klukowski praised the work of the Hereford players.
"I can't stand here and criticise the players at all, I thought they were outstanding," said the Hereford interim manager.
"The way they played, their attacking thrust and chance creation.
"We've had five or six very good opportunities tonight but if you don't score then sometimes it comes back to bite you."
Chorley's goal came straight after Latty-Fairweather had to be subbed.
"I think there was a little bit of a passage before that and we've been a bit in the wide area and its fallen to their lad and he's got a clean collection, something we didn't quite have with a couple of our opportunities in the first half.
"They've had a five minute spell across ninety minutes and scored two goals and that's been the difference.
"When you've got two good sides playing against each other it going to come down to those moments in the game and they took their moments and unfortunately we weren't quite as secure at the back as we should have been.
"But the game should have been over at half time."
