There are no signs that Hereford FC are to name a new chairman as yet.
Vice-chairman Peter Churchus is currently in charge but when asked at Chorley if he wanted the post he confirmed he didn't.
So at present it's in the hands of the 'initial investors' in the club to try and find someone who would be suitable for the vacant position on the board in place of former chairman Jon Hale. But that might be quite difficult given the reluctance of people to offer themselves.
The make up of the Hereford board is four directors in essence appointed by the 'initial investors' and three directors appointed by HUST, the Supporters Trust.
However if the 'initial investos' can't find anyone there may be another way.
One of the HUST nominated directors could become an 'initial investor' director. The obvious person is Mike Langford who first became a director in July 2015
He could jump ship which would then leave one position on the board to be filled by HUST.
Justin Radcliffe would be favourite to fill the position.
Should this happen hopefully the board would be able to decide on a chairman.
