Earlier this week Hereford interim manager Yan Klukowski revealed that he would be getting some help in the form of an assistant manager.
The person was understood to be someone Yan works with at Forest Green Rovers.
In the last hour the club has confirmed this and named him.
Kevin Phillips is the new assistant manager.
For the last four years Phillips has been Academy Head of Coaching at Forest Green.
Before then goalkeeping coach for Kidderminster.
"Kevin brings a wealth of experience and know-how," said Klukowski.
"He
is someone I respect greatly and have worked with for many years."
