In his pre-Hereford interview, Darlington manager Alun Armstrong said that every team in the league seems to have a blip at some stage in the season.
Darlington appear to be having their blip at the moment. Despite being 6th in the table they've gone five games without a win.
And their defence has let in 49 goals to date this season. That's seven more than Hereford.
"We need a win," said Armstrong.
"We need to get out of this little rut.
"I've said it many times, every team has a little bad patch through the season. Every team in this league will have a little blip.
"It doesn't matter when it is or how it is, it happens in football.
"Once we get out of it we'll be able to kick on but we need to get out of it starting Saturday.
"It's going to be a difficult game, we know that.
"Hereford new manager as such after Josh left.
"They've got a decent sized squad, they've had some decent results away from home.
"So it will be a difficult game as we knew when we were down there.
"We're conceding far too many goals."
Darlington will be without two of their regular starters, Jack Lambert and Callum Griffiths, tomorrow.
"Last five minutes of training Jack tweaked his knee and Griff pulled his thigh.
"We were doing a bit of work on the shape. Then we didn't have time to work on it again."
