Chorley goalkeeper Matt Irwin was man of the match in the game against Hereford last night. He might not have been if Ryan Mclean's shot hadn't gone inches wide.
Yan Klukowski spoke about the award in his post match interview.
"It's very rare a home goalie will get a man of the match," said the Hereford interim manager.
"I think that probably epitimises our performance and shows how attack minded we were away from home.
"Our chance creation was really good but, again, it's just that final piece."
The pitch started to freeze soon after kick-off.
"It's not a great surface but it's the same for both sides. Some of our football on it to create those forward opportunities, I scrathing my head really that we not come away with a minimum of a point let alone three."
Had Hereford won last night then the gap between the two clubs would have been down to one point.
"Since this group has been working together we've always shown that bounce back ability and won the next game.
"The focus now turns to Saturday and Telford and we'll look to put it right from this evening."
