AFC Telford's Improved Financial Position

The financial position of AFC Telford has improved with all 500,000 shares in the club now sold.

And the club recorded a loss of just £5,289 in the year to May 31st 2022.

Shareholders funds amount to £307,927.

Managing director Ian Dosser welcomed the club's stronger position.

"It’s a relatively small loss and a result remarkably close to breaking even in a very difficult period post Covid pandemic, it reflects very tight control of off-field costs, attendances holding up well – so thank you to our supporters," he said as reported by the Shropshire Star.

"Also secondary spend on matchday has held up well, as it has commercial income, so thank you to the continued support of our sponsors."

AFC Telford was fan-owned until December 2016 when the club started to issue shares.

Recently Music Magpie co-founder Walter Glesson brought 100,000 shares.
