HUST Critical Of Club Secrecy

In their latest communication to members HUST are critical of the secrecy imposed by the club board in particular in regards to the finances.

At the recent AGM club chairman Jon Hale told shareholders that the meeting was in strict confidence which is why BN didn't post a report from the meeting.

HUST are in the same position. In effect they have been stopped from reporting to their members what happened at the AGM.

They can't report the boards response to any of the 31 questions HUST submitted to the meeting.

'Too many responses read 'Directors are aware, but they do not believe this information should be in the public domain'

And HUST added 'This club board appears to want to operate in a veil of secrecy and we are not convinced of the reasons provided as to why'.

A further observation by HUST concerned the income from the Portsmouth game which brought in around £100K of much needed income.

'In response to the profit figure that had been made from the Portsmouth game HUST questioned the board to know if the intensions were to put those funds into safekeeping for next season and start to rebuild the reserves that had been lost.

'Unfortunately there was no positive response to this end, which leads us to speculate that those funds may be spent before the season is out'.
