Hereford's man of the match at Fylde last night was Aaron Amadi-Holloway. Afterwards he spoke to the Hereford media.
"It was a great result," he said.
"I think we deserved, throughly deserved it.
"Worked our socks off from the start.
"Long trip to come to.
"Top of the league.
"Can't ask much more can you."
Hereford's first goal came after just three minutes when Ryan McLean capitalised on a goalkeeping error. Few saw it coming.
"It came out of nowhere. He worked his socks off for that, he deserves it.
"If he does not go and press it, it doesn't happen.
"It does help getting our early goal, it settles you and puts a bit of pressure on them, especially when they are at home and the fans start getting on their backs. I think it was a massive help.
"It just makes a massive difference when you score in the first fifteen, twenty minutes away, especially when they are expected to win as they are top of the league. Different class from the boys."
Fylde came out strongly after the break but Hereford took their chances well with two goals just a few minutes apart.
"We scored against the play. Again nobody expected it.
"They didn't expect it, they thought let's get a goal back.
"Then one, two, done."
Amadi scored Hereford's second goal with a back heel.
"Great ball from Kane, broke the line well from a set-piece. Didn't work on it much, just came off, perfect."
Then Barnett scored Hereford's third which completely beat the keeper.
"It was too quick for him
"He's got it in his locker, he's done it before at another away game exactly the same thing."
The win means Hereford have done the double over the league leaders.
"This game was probably harder than the first one I would say. But we deserved it."
