Last week Herefordshire Council released details of the cost of demolishing the Blackfriars End of Edgar Street, the home of Hereford FC.
The Blackfriars End, pictured in 2009, of the ground is not used for supporters is considered by many to be an eye-sore.
The Football Club still use it for storage etc and two of the ground's floodlights are in the Blackfriars End.
Here's what the Council has said:
'The condition survey has highlighted the poor general structural condition of the overall stand in its current state, it recommends that spectators/public should continue to be excluded from the site until it is either substantially refurbished or demolished and rebuilt/redeveloped.'
They also say it would cost £110,000 to demolish the End.
Meanwhile the ACV (Asset of Community Value) on Edgar Street was last renewed in the summer of 2019. HUST will need to repeat the exercise by summer 2024.
