Gloucester manager Steven King was pleased with his sides 2-0 victory over Hereford last Saturday.
"I thought today was manful," said King after the game.
"We defended brilliantly, apart from one or two chances they had, I felt we thoroughly deserved the win and it could’ve been 3-0 at half time, Dom (McHale) was running riot down that right hand side.
"The wind was fierce. We knew we’d have the wind in the first half and made sure to get in front. Two is always a dodgy score line, if they score one then they’re right back in it so we did try to break out in the second half.
"We didn’t get out as much as we’d have liked to but still had a couple of great opportunities.
"With the wind against us we defended well as a group, a lot of things they’ve been learning in training came into fruition today."
