Ryan Mclean With The Ball At Gloucester Last Season |
It's an away game at Gloucester for Hereford tomorrow afternoon.
Despite more rain being forecast the game should go ahead as Gloucester play on a plastic pitch.
"We do our homework on all teams," said Hereford manager Josh Gowling.
"We beat Bromley this season so it's not that bad for us.
"I think years gone by when we've played on 3G/4G surfaces we've not been in the best form.
"I think this is a bit of a different senario this time.
"When we went to Heybridge we had a lot of injuries on a 4G surface, not playing the best, and we came unstuck there.
"This time off the back of seven points from three games we would like to think we will go there and have a bit more about us."
Gowling isn't a fan of plastic pitches.
"It's not a great surface for football, it's got an extra grip on it so there's extra torsion for joints and muscles so it's not fantastic."
Early this season Gloucester beat Hereford at Edgar Street.
"We didn't play very well and the fans let me know that as well.
"We want to win games, I'm sure we'll take a good following so we're going to want to put on a display for the fans."
Finally Gowling spoke about his strike partnership of Aaron Amadi-Holloway and Miles Storey.
"Looking at areas to improve and where we are not getting goals, we thought that Miles and Aaron up top would make a big difference.
"So far, so good."
