Banbury‘s second half revival earned them three points at Edgar Street, condemning Hereford to a 3-2 defeat.
Hereford had the better of the first half with Aaron Amadi-Holloway putting the Bulls ahead, while Dan Jarvis also hit the post.
But Banbury came back in the second period. Substitute Alex Babos levelled, and then veteran defender Kelvin Langmead scored twice to earn Banbury the win. Orrin Pendley did level for Hereford, but ultimately the away side found a way to retake the lead.
The lively and inventive Jack Evans came off with an injury too, in another blow for the Bulls.
